My Story

My name is Caitlin Reid, and I am currently finishing up my degree in Communication and Media Studies at Carleton University. I've also previously earned a degree in Anthropology from the University of Manitoba. Near the tail end of that degree I realized that anthropology was no longer the direction I wanted my career to travel in. I landed instead on being an editor, in which a COMS degree would be well suited for. Previous jobs I've held include data entry and digitizing documents. My strengths lie in organization, resourcefulness, and multi-tasking. Some qualities that I am steadily improving on include public speaking, adaptability, and leadership skills. Outside of my academic and professional life, I enjoy reading, writing, and collecting antiques.
